Esther Beixuan Geng

Producer | Educator | Curator of Inclusive Arts Experiences
Melbourne | Shanghai

I’m Esther Geng — a bilingual producer and arts educator passionate about creating meaningful, inclusive experiences across theatre, early childhood, and community settings.

With a Master of Arts and Cultural Management and a Bachelor of Arts (Art History & Screen and Cultural Studies) from the University of Melbourne, my career bridges both creative direction and educational purpose. I also hold a Graduate Diploma in Early Childhood Education from RMIT, which deepened my commitment to child-centred learning and accessibility in the arts.

Over the past decade, I’ve worked across Australia and China in roles spanning production management, programming, audience engagement, and inclusive design — with a particular focus on children’s theatre and immersive experiences. My projects include sensory-friendly theatre works for children with autism and PMLD, large-scale public arts programs, original Mandarin musicals, and curriculum-aligned workshops for early learners.

Whether I’m producing a show, curating a workshop, or designing educational content, my goal is to make spaces where creativity is accessible, where difference is welcomed, and where stories can be felt across language, age, and ability.

Currently based in Melbourne, I continue to collaborate across cultures, sectors, and art forms — working with independent artists, theatre companies, galleries, and educational institutions.
